I have decided to make an apron for Michal for Christmas. I found the cutest Holly Hobby-esque fabric at a thrift store this summer that I think will be prefect for it. I have been searching the internet for a cute apron pattern and I think I’ve settled on this one (pictured above) from the blog Skip to my Lou. I will probably tweak it a bit, but I love that it has a ruffle, (that was a must for me), and that it closes with velcro, making it easy for Michal to put on and take off by herself. I will post pictures when I’m done.
While I was doing my searching, I came across the etsy site lisaanne1960. This site is amazing! It’s lots and lots of fabulous vintage patterns. It’s a great resource for those who sew, and great eye candy for those who sew, and those who don’t.
This pattern in particular stood out to me.
I love this picture; I love everything about it. The outfits, the hair, the hats, the balloon. It’s all so wonderful! Just thought I’d share that with you!
